Managing director, Joan McLaren, was a candidate for the US Olympic Show
Jumping Team, short-listed as national trainer for the Irish International
Junior and Young Rider Eventing Teams, and Assistant Instructor to Head of
Italian Federal Show Jumping Sector, Duccio Bartalucci. She has trained with
U.S. Show Jumping Team coach Bertalan de Nemethy, English Eventing Olympic
medalist and multiple Badminton winner Ginny Leng Elliot and U.K, Swedish,
and Irish International Dressage Team trainer, Conrad Schumacher, amongst
others.
McLaren ranked and won national championships in the USA in show jumping and
competed successfully in combined training events. She has produced both
young horses and Young Riders to international levels in the U.S., Italy and
Ireland. She is currently based in Dublin Ireland where she stands the
Holsteiner stallion Calzada, the only son of Caletto I, in the country.
